Ring the changes
Call me an old romantic, I like to do things in style. When we decided to tie the knot, my beloved and I spent a happy shopping for a ring online: she was touched! Actually this was the best way to find a terrific ring at an excellent price. I have found that buying from a website saves loads of time and money. For us, it takes an hour to drive to the nearest good shopping centre, then there is all the hassle of parking.
The other downside of going to teh shops in person is that you can be diverted by other tempting goodies, like a quality watch at sale prices, instead of the original item that was on your list. Call me an old misery if you like but I would rather spend my weekend with the dog than queuing up to find a car park space. And there is another drawback of going to the shops: what to do with the dog? Leave him at home and he pines. Take him woth you and he has to stay in the hot car. My case is made, we bought a bargain diamond ring and still had time to enjoy ourselves.
