iTunes Library Recovery Option One-Free Software
Freeware is software which is free of charge, for an unlimited time. The vast majority of guys putting freeware on the web are honest and get their kicks from just giving something back to the online community. However- I am a nervous traveller. Especially when I am travelling around the internet! I am convinced that there is a whole community of people out there dedicated to infecting me with a virus. (I was previously convinced that whoever put the old hard drive in my laptop fixed it so it would go belly up as soon as there was enough music on there to really ruin my week)
I feel nervous about freeware because the software may just possibly contain viruses. How does the average, non-technical guy know what is safe and what is not? If you put ‘freeware’ into your search engine you get nearly 77 million results! Put the term ‘iTunes library recovery freeware’ and there are one and a quarter million returns. HELP! If you just start downloading software you might get yourself into a lot of trouble.
Free software can contain spyware, adware, trojans, bots, viruses – lots of bad stuff. Even some freeware websites will list any freeware that they can find so they have more programs than their competitors. You can try message boards, forums and news groups. If there is something wrong with some iTunes recovery software you will find out there!
I am sure the vast majority are OK but I have already had one disaster with my hard drive- I do not need another!
There is a lot of great freeware out there, I am sure. But, even so, for me the stakes are just too high. Sorry, I will freely admit it- I am too nervous. I am already wired after the hard drive crash. I cannot handle any more shocks!
Free software is not the route I am going to take
