Get away
I really need a holiday – I have not had a break for over a year, so I have been looking around for some good vacation deals. Over in the States, Branson have resorts in all the best areas: whatever you want to do on vacation, they can supply it. I am not so keen on the type of place where you attend shows and big entertainment events, but if that is your scene then they can help you.
The place that caught my eye for a romantic getaway was the Thousand Hills resort, where you stay in luxurious but rustic log cabins nestled among the trees. Have a look at the picture and you will see the high standards of accommodation: that kitchen is better that my own! These cabins are close to loads of holiday attractions, so if you get tired of walking in the hills you are in easy reach of the Silver Dollar City adventure park. With more than 30 rides it is great for kids of all ages, and there is also the Marvel Cave that you can visit. The unusual part of this attraction is the dozens of craftspeople demonstrating time honoured skills used by the residents of the Ozarks who lived here in the 19th century.
