I visited the new Eurostar Terminal at King’s Cross last night and I was blown away by the restoration that has been done. This fantastic Victorian Gothic building is now the launching pad for high speed links to Paris, where it is now so much simpler to visit the Louvreand all my other favourite places in the city of Romance. A trip to Paris is now even easier and more affordable. I know it is possible to find great hotel rooms in Paris there for a low price, and following many visits I have also found some good restaurants close to Beaubourg among others.
At any time of the year, if you can get to central London you can get to Paris easily and with no hassle. This makes it so enjoyable to visit top attractions like the Eiffel tower
and Notre Dame. I really like the gothic statues on the cathedral, the gargoyles are quite scary when you view them up close and personal. The views from the top are panoramic and afterwards it is fun to visit the rooftop cafe at Samaritaine.
